We are matched!
...and eagerly anticipating the arrival of our

when it happened!
(see the clip!)
Congratulations & a
Big welcome to:
Terry Everhart, Matt Olson, Laura Mayans, Javier Gutierrez, Taineisha Bolden,
Kanhka Lithavong, Stephanie Alm & Susan Overstreet! |
 |
We are also looking forward to seeing our 3 new
Sports Medicine fellows who matched -

Our current fellows, Drs Yoder, Barnes and Von Fange, presented
posters at
"RENDEZVOUS II: An International Sports Medicine Meeting."
Held to bring together members from the sports medicine societies
represented by the Clinical Journal of Sports Medicine
(the AMSSM, the American Osteopathic Academy of
Sports Medicine, the Australasian College of
Sports Physicians and the Canadian Academy of
Sport Medicine)
this year's participants met at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas. Of course, being in the
entertainment capital, everyone was obligated to make time for
entertainment, so they saw Monty Python's Spamalot
(Is it time for some diet advice now?). |

Our new Co-Chief residents have been selected! Kristen Samuhel and Mark Rowand will take over from Tameika Howell. Congratulations to all! |
 |
There's a new face in the faculty office - please welcome our new secretary
Mari Hawkins
(no relation to our practice manager Denya Hawkins) |
 |
After months of anticipation, our EMR, Centricity, has been implemented!
All is going smoothly after excellent pre-training
by Dr. Chambliss, Denya Hawkins and Kathy Foster, RN, and tireless preparation by staff.
Great job everyone!

Every year Santa & one of his elves shows up to deliver an interesting assortment of presents -
in a somewhat untraditional fashion. This year's festivities upheld that tradition. Below
pictures taken by Santa after the party...

Every year the
National Conference of the American Academy of Family Physicians
takes place in Kansas City. Last year, faculty Drs. Bill Hensel
& Camille Andy, & Residency Coordinator
Darcy Hitz attended, along with co-chiefs Amy Bedsole & Tim Von Fange,
& residents Shaw Duncan &
Madeleine Vanstory. In addition to conferring, they treated some students to dinner, and still
managed to find time for some sightseeing in KC. Pictured,
clockwise from top left: Bill Madeleine and Amy
talk with 4th year student; Tim & Darcy pause for a photo; transport, in case someone needs to get
home by midnight(?) and Camille demonstrates to Shaw how fountains can be used as an aid to increase
one's height.. |
